I used to have a lot excuses for not getting into some form of exercise, but my weighing scale has been tipping past my ideal 120 lbs. weight and this yanked me back to reality. I had to get into some exercise to lose weight fast at home because I’m currently out of work. Not exactly jobless though but just waiting for my call for departure aboard the cruise ship I work for as lifeguard.
It’s a good thing that I know some exercise to lose weight fast at home, instead of spending precious hours away from a home that I miss so much once onboard the ship. It also kind of hit me that some people who couldn’t afford gyms or be away from their homes, will probably find it useful to know these exercises. So here’s sharing some of them via this blog:
First off is to take away your mindset about being too busy, or lazy even. The latter is what happened in my case. But then I could easily motivate myself and still do some home activities and exercise at the same time without making an excuse.
1. You don’t have to be too engrossed with your computer that you just sit still even when downloading a movie which could take 15 minutes at the least if you’re not down loading a lengthy one. Fifteen minutes idle time can let you into a lot of skipping rope counts. So if you’re downloading something that will rake more than an hour, then there are a lot of exercise routines you can do while waiting for the download to complete.
2. Do yourself a favor of doing some lunges, sit-ups, leg-lifts or jumping jacks even as you watch the TV or waiting for your download to complete; aside from the skipping rope exercises you will do. The important thing is for you to sweat out all the calories you stored by being passive and lethargic.
3. You’re probably a housewife with too many house chores. I read a suggestion in one of the articles here about making several running trips up and down the stairs. I’ll add my piece and its about picking up all the clothes, toys, litters you can find on the floor instead of yakking up on your kids to clean-up their mess up. They’ll have their turn when they get to the point that they too need to lose some weight. Besides, getting all stressed up about it will only have some negative effects on your nerves. Picking them up will trim down your belly.
4. If you’re hanging out clothes to dry, pick them up like you would do some bending exercise. Wring out the excess water by moving not just your hands but the whole length of your arms. Adjust the clothesline a bit higher than the way it used to be. It should be at a height that will allow you to hang the clothes with your arms all stretched out.
5. If your arms tire out from too much stretching, use a stool instead and do one step up and one step down routines, while hanging clothes. You’re actually putting more sense to those one-step up aerobic exercises they teach you in exercise videos.
These are only a few of the exercise to lose weight fast at home and you can come up with your own ideas because you are more familiar with the kind of activities you usually do.
Remember a pound of weight you lose doing all sorts of things can still come back, but every minute lost doing nothing is gone for good.
